Water Networks
Surveying and Mapping
This activity consists of the geometric surveying and mapping of the existing water network, carried out through topographic surveys performed by qualified personnel, followed by digital processing and data integration.
The surveying of facilities and storage reservoirs is carried out using laser scanning technology.
Digitalization and GIS
The digitalization of the network is carried out by data processing technicians, working in parallel, each assigned to the municipality corresponding to their reference survey team.
This activity begins once the field teams have collected sufficient survey data to start performing topographic transformations, populating the GIS database, and preparing the first technical records of manholes and survey points.
The process continues until the completion of all data editing and validation operations.
Leak Detection
The company has over thirty years of experience in leak detection activities, developed across more than 30,000 kilometres of transmission and distribution networks.
These activities are carried out throughout the national territory, supporting the main water utility operators.
Water Network Monitoring
W.E.E. provides network monitoring services aimed at defining water balance assessments and collecting the data required for modelling and design activities.
Over the past three years, monitoring campaigns have been carried out including more than 500 flow measurements and 1,500 pressure measurements.
Hydraulic Modelling
- Network modelling and calibration
- Network districting (DMA design)
- Water planning
Water Planning
Water Plans aim to establish a strategic tool capable of providing a comprehensive overview of the issues to be addressed, identifying the necessary remedial interventions, and defining their priority and associated costs.
Quality and Safety
W.E.E. holds all the certifications required for the installation and maintenance of detection, monitoring and remote control systems for water supply and sewer networks.
The company provides engineering services in the fields of water infrastructure, sewer systems, wastewater treatment, environmental systems and hydrogeological protection, as well as surveying, measurement, monitoring and modelling of water and sewer networks.
Additional services include leak detection, identification of infiltration and inflow waters, and internal inspection of pipelines and hydraulic structures.
